Welcome to the ITAL242 course blog. Here, developing from the six friends introduced in the textbook, we will see the numerous interpretations of friendships, from personal experience to all forms of media (literature, film, news, etc.). Each student will be responsible for weekly blog entries to develop this theme and her language skills.
The objective of 242 is as follows:
Students will gain improved control of the structure of Italian through an advanced study of Italian grammar. Vocabulary and grammar activities will complement the readings and the reworking of narrative texts.
The course is centered on discussion, written practice, student presentations, and creative writing assignments. The goals of this course are to strengthen the student’s creative writing ability in Italian and to reveal the various writing styles and techniques in composing narratives.
This course is required for Italian majors and minors and will be taught in Italian.
